Cristina Commisso

Cristina Commisso grew up in Sydney, Australia. Her need to move and express began there in the grasslands until she moved to Newcastle to formally train under Brett Morgan. At The Joffrey Ballet School in New York she continued her training. After she began her first engagement at Ballet Hispánico. In 2014 she moved to Europe dancing with Theater Osnabrück, Stadttheaters Bremerhaven and Scapino Ballet, Rotterdam. As a freelance dancer, she has worked with choreographers such as Edward Clug, Jiri Pokorny, Ed Wubbe, Marco Goecke, Samir Calixto, Rafaele Giovanola (Cocoon Dance) and Mauro de Candia. Cristina has also throughout this time developed her passion to create and choreograph given various opportunities at Young Choreographic platforms.
