Andrea Scarfi
Italian born Andrea Scarfi graduated in 2018-2019 from Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance in Munich. In 2021, he worked in the project THINK BIG that was shown at the festival Tanz Theater International Hannover, artistic director was Christiane Winter.
As professional dancer he worked with young choreographers for the Biennale College Danza 2020 in Venice (artistic director Marie Chouinard).
Andrea was selected for the Biennale College Danza 2021 in Venice (artistic director Wayne McGregor), dancing FAR by Wayne McGregor and SOLO ECHO by Cristal Pìte.
He previously worked with the choreographers Matteo Carvone for FAUST SYMPHONY at Gasteig Philharmonie and MOZART 20 at Carl Orff Fest 2019 as well as with Alan Books and Dustin Klein at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich.
Andrea Scarfi was supported from April 1, 2022, to July 15, 2023, by Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien in the NEUSTART KULTUR program, through the DIS-TANZ-START funding for graduates by Dachverband Tanz Deutschland.
