Britta Bremer
Britta Bremer, born in Niedersachsen in 1977, graduated in architecture from the TU Braunschweig in 2003 and completed her Master of Arts in postgraduate studies for stage and image at the TU Berlin in 2005. During her architectural studies, she had her first “contact” with the subject of stage design, which was then deepened during her postgraduate studies with her first assistantships. This was followed by the step into self-employment with her first own premiere, which was supported by numerous assistantships at various theatres throughout Germany. After a three-year engagement as set and workshop manager at the Gerhart Hauptmann Theatre in Görlitz-Zittau from 2011 to 2014, with the opportunity not only to design her own productions but also to closely follow their production, she is now once again focusing on self-employment. Experience in stage and costume design in all three genres and cabaret, both in the independent scene and in private and public theatres. Winner of the Best OFF – Festival of Independent Theatres of the Foundation of Lower Saxony with the production “Hannah und der Punk oder Wie geht Freiheit” of the Theater an der Glocksee Hannover in 2020.
