Carolina Verra

Carolina was born and grew up in Cuneo, Italy. She graduated from Codarts Rotterdam in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in dance performance. During her studies, she won numerous prizes, including 1st prize at the Rieti Danza Festival and 2nd prize at the International Dance Competition “Citta di Spoleto”.
Carolina danced at the Konzert Theater Bern and at the IKC Dans Amsterdam, directed by Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten. During this period, she performed works of Hofesh Shechter, Marco Goecke, Jirí Kylián, Ihsan Rustem, Felix Landerer und Jo Strømgren. As a freelancer she also collaborates on a creation with Andreas Hannes and for a production with Marcel Leeman. In the last two seasons 2022/23 and 2023/24, Carolina was a permanent ensemble member at Ballett Hagen and had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Francesco Nappa, Merce Cunningham, Mauro Bigonzetti, Anna Konjetzky and Kevin O’Day. Among others, she performed the solo role of Giselle in Francesco Nappa’s new interpretation of the classic.

Since the start of the 2024/25 season, Carolina is a permanent ensemble member at OCN.
